Club Rules

(for Australia & New Zealand Members Only)

The Grand Seiko GS9 Club (Australia & New Zealand Chapter) is a membership only club that is available to eligible Grand Seiko watch owners who sign up to become members of the Grand Seiko GS9 Club (Australia & New Zealand Chapter).

The following are rules applicable to the Grand Seiko GS9 Club (Australia & New Zealand Chapter):

  1. SEIKO Australia Pty Ltd (SAPL) reserves the right to amend or revise these Grand Seiko GS9 Club (Australia & New Zealand Chapter) Club rules (“Club Rules“) at any time by posting revised Club Rules on https://grandseikogs9club.com.au/. SAPL will provide members with 14 days’ notice of any material updates to the Club Rules, for example via a notice on the Club portal or by email.

 

  1. To be eligible for Grand Seiko GS9 Club (Australia & New Zealand Chapter) membership, you must have purchased, on or after March 23, 2017, a Grand Seiko watch (an “Eligible Grand Seiko Watch”) from an authorised Grand Seiko Boutique, Salon, or Mastershop store located in Australia or New Zealand (“Authorised Retailer”). A list of the Grand Seiko authorised Grand Seiko Boutique, Salon, and Mastershop stores is available on https://shop.grandseikogs9club.com.au/pages/our-stores.

 

  1. As part of registration on the Grand Seiko GS9 Club (Australia & New Zealand Chapter), you will need to upload a photo of your Eligible Grand Seiko Watch and a copy of your sales receipt from an Authorised Retailer. We will handle your information in accordance with our privacy policy, available at: https://www.seiko.com.au/termsconditions/privacy.

 

  1. Grand Seiko reserves the right to refuse membership in the Grand Seiko GS9 Club (Australia & New Zealand Chapter) to any person in its sole discretion (acting reasonably).

 

  1. Images of Grand Seiko watches uploaded on the Grand Seiko GS9 Club (Australia & New Zealand Chapter) site must be tactful and appropriate images that include your Grand Seiko watch. Inappropriate images are not permitted.

 

  1. Gift items provided to Grand Seiko GS9 Club (Australia & New Zealand Chapter) Club members are for personal use and not for resale and, as a result, should not be sold or offered for sale.

 

  1. Login information is personal to a member and should not be shared with any other person.

 

  1. Exclusive content available only to Grand Seiko GS9 Club (Australia & New Zealand Chapter) members should not be shared with any non-members, whether by providing the images or cut and pasting the text of such content onto other websites (without SAPL’s prior express written consent).

 

  1. Purchases from the Grand Seiko GS9 Club (Australia & New Zealand Chapter) website will be delivered only to an address located within Australia and New Zealand. Likewise, free gifts provided to Grand Seiko GS9 Club (Australia & New Zealand Chapter) members will only be shipped to a location within Australia and New Zealand.

 

  1. Grand Seiko GS9 Club has or may have GS9 Clubs based in other countries outside of Australia and New Zealand. Membership in the Grand Seiko GS9 Club (Australia & New Zealand Chapter) (for Australia and New Zealand members only) does not afford the Grand Seiko GS9 Club member with any rights or membership in any Grand Seiko GS9 Club for residents of any other countries.

 

  1. Grand Seiko GS9 Club (Australia & New Zealand Chapter) will not ship Grand Seiko merchandise outside of Australia and New Zealand.

 

  1. A material violation of these Club Rules may result in suspension or termination of your rights and privileges as a Grand Seiko GS9 Club (Australia & New Zealand Chapter) member. SAPL may suspend or terminate your rights and privileges as a member if:
    a. the material violation is capable of remedy (as determined by SAPL acting reasonably) and the violation is not remedied within [30] days of receiving written notice of the violation from SAPL; or
    b. the material violation is incapable of remedy.

 

  1. SAPL reserves the right to terminate the Grand Seiko GS9 Club (Australia & New Zealand Chapter) at any time and for any reason. Where possible, SAPL will provide members with [30] days’ notice of any decision to terminate the Grand Seiko GS9 Club (Australia & New Zealand Chapter)

 

  1. You may terminate your Grand Seiko GS9 Club (Australia & New Zealand Chapter) membership at any time and for any reason by giving written notice to SAPL via gs9club@seiko.com.au

Occasionally, GS9 Club members receive exclusive and unique memorabilia, known as kinennhin 記念品 in Japanese. Please include your shipping address to your profile to become eligible.
